Mr. Russo was born and raised in the Phillipsburg area and graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1996. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moravian University, Bethlehem, PA in 2000.
Mr. Russo received his law degree from Widener University School of Law and graduated Cum Laude in 2003. While in law school, he was awarded with the Certificate of Excellence in Legal Advocacy Writing, which was awarded to only one person per year.
As a partner in the firm, Mr. Russo concentrates a large portion of his practice in the areas of Criminal Law and Civil Litigation. His extensive criminal experience includes representation of clients in the areas of homicides; major drug crimes; all major felonies and indictable crimes; Municipal Court charges, and DWI's. Mr. Russo also has extensive experience in Civil Litigation, which includes multi-party litigation, class action lawsuits, personal injury and environmental law. He regularly represents clients in all phases of criminal and civil litigation including employment litigation and civil service disciplinary proceedings. In addition, Mr. Russo has argued cases before the New Jersey Appellate Division, New Jersey State Supreme Court, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Delaware Conservancy, Inc
Since 2005, Mr. Russo has served as the General Counsel to the Delaware Conservancy, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization located in Stewartsville, NJ. He zealously advocates the rights and concerns of the Delaware Conservancy in the Conservancy's quests to protect the Delaware River, its resources, individual and community safety and property against devastating repetitive flooding and serious environmental hazards and pollution. In furtherance of the Conservancy's quests, Mr. Russo has appeared on a variety of media outlets including television and radio for interviews to discuss the ramifications and impact of the detrimental environmental effects, regarding flooding and pollution in the Delaware River Basin. In honor of Mr. Russo's extraordinary efforts and unyielding dedicated as General Counsel of the Conservancy, Mr. Russo was the recipient of the award for exceptional accomplishments regarding conservation and preservation of the Delaware River by the Delaware Riverside Conservancy, Inc.
Joseph H. Firth Youth Center
Mr. Russo serves as the Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Joseph H. Firth Youth Center, in Phillipsburg, NJ, a private, non-profit agency providing recreational and educational activities for Phillipsburg area youth and adults.
World Trade Center WTC Families for Proper Burial
Mr. Russo has served as the Attorney pro bono, for the World Trade Center WTC Families for Proper Burial from 2001 to 2010. This organization has been dedicated to families fighting for proper burial of their loved ones who devastatingly perished at the World Trade Center on 9/11.
9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund
Mr. Russo has represented claimants seeking eligibility for the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund. In such representation, he has attended meetings and hearings to advocate on behalf of the surviving family members of the victims. This pro bono work included appearing before the Unites States Special Master, Kenneth Feinberg, for purposes of assuring the families were adequately compensated for the tragic loss of their loved ones.
Debate Team, Warren Hills Regional High School, Washington, NJ
Since 2003, Mr. Russo has volunteered his time to coach the Warren Hills Regional High School's Debate Team in furtherance of the High School's Debate program. In this capacity, Mr. Russo has been instrumental in assisting the members improve upon their public speaking skills, expose the members to legal structures, and participate in the New Jersey Bar Foundation's annual mock trial competition. Each year Mr. Russo works closely with Debate Team meeting weekly during the pertinent semester and he is proud of the members' accomplishments. Interestingly, each year Mr. Jeffrey Russo competes against his brother, Mr. Brad Russo's Phillipsburg High School Mock Trial Team. As of 2012, Mr. Russo holds a 7-1 win/loss record over his brother.

Additionally, Mr. Russo has recently been appointed to serve on the Supervisory Committee for IRCO Community Federal Credit Union, located in Phillipsburg, NJ.
